These parts are en route to Round Rock, Texas, where Matt and Ben will install this ceiling sculpture soon. Bon voyage!
Round Rock Hospital Ceiling Sculpture Rendering
Here’s a rendering of a ceiling sculpture we’re creating for a new hospital in Round Rock, Texas. The client requested a piece that provides substantial coverage to the hospital’s lobby while incorporating nature elements, so the piece will incorporate large leaf shapes strung together to span the 60-foot space. Color scheme is still tbd, so stay tuned for updates!
SMU Peruna Ceiling Sculpture Installation
Matt and Ben were in Dallas last week to install a Peruna-shaped ceiling sculpture at Southern Methodist University’s stadium expansion. We’re excited to see pictures of the space once construction is complete!
Yakima Ceiling Sculpture Installation
The Yakima installation is done! It was a ceiling sculpture comprising 172 strands of 1,200 translucent acrylic shapes, strung along a hospital’s waiting room area. We’re so happy with the cheerful color and flow it adds to the beautiful space!
Kites Ceiling Sculpture Installation
Matt and Ben took a break from shop moving to install the kites ceiling sculpture in a Wisconsin hospital. Enjoy the pictures. Now back to the move!
What Happened In Vegas
Matt and Ben have been in fabulous Las Vegas installing this ceiling sculpture in the gaming room of Red Rock Casino. It’s been a long week, starting with a road trip to haul the piece from Portland to Vegas. Here are a few behind-the-scenes peeks at the installation process.
Kites Ceiling Sculpture
We’re starting to work on a fun kite-themed ceiling sculpture for a hospital. We’ll create two matching sculptures for separate locations in the hospital, and each will span 35 feet long by 11 feet wide. We’re going to start refining the kite shapes soon with the material. Stay tuned for updates!
Galaxy Feedback
Matt and Ben are still riding high (and utterly exhausted) from completing the Galaxy installation. And we have received the best feedback about it!
The art consultant (who forwarded these particular images of the piece) said, “These images circulated to a few people and all responded with such wonderful comments and feedback including [the CEO of Houston Methodist] with ‘stunning.’”
And Daniel Goldstein, the concept artist, said, “Oh Matt!!!! It looks amazing. I cannot thank you enough for your outstanding work. I hope you are happy with it. I know I am. I know how grueling those installations can be. Get some sleep. Thank you and your team for your phenomenal work.”
(We especially appreciate that Daniel understands how truly grueling installations can be!)
