The Yakima installation is done! It was a ceiling sculpture comprising 172 strands of 1,200 translucent acrylic shapes, strung along a hospital’s waiting room area. We’re so happy with the cheerful color and flow it adds to the beautiful space!
Kites Ceiling Sculpture Installation
Matt and Ben took a break from shop moving to install the kites ceiling sculpture in a Wisconsin hospital. Enjoy the pictures. Now back to the move!
What Happened In Vegas
Matt and Ben have been in fabulous Las Vegas installing this ceiling sculpture in the gaming room of Red Rock Casino. It’s been a long week, starting with a road trip to haul the piece from Portland to Vegas. Here are a few behind-the-scenes peeks at the installation process.
Kites Ceiling Sculpture
We’re starting to work on a fun kite-themed ceiling sculpture for a hospital. We’ll create two matching sculptures for separate locations in the hospital, and each will span 35 feet long by 11 feet wide. We’re going to start refining the kite shapes soon with the material. Stay tuned for updates!
Galaxy Feedback
Matt and Ben are still riding high (and utterly exhausted) from completing the Galaxy installation. And we have received the best feedback about it!
The art consultant (who forwarded these particular images of the piece) said, “These images circulated to a few people and all responded with such wonderful comments and feedback including [the CEO of Houston Methodist] with ‘stunning.’”
And Daniel Goldstein, the concept artist, said, “Oh Matt!!!! It looks amazing. I cannot thank you enough for your outstanding work. I hope you are happy with it. I know I am. I know how grueling those installations can be. Get some sleep. Thank you and your team for your phenomenal work.”
(We especially appreciate that Daniel understands how truly grueling installations can be!)

The Woodlands Ceiling Sculpture Installation
The Woodlands ceiling sculpture installation is complete! Matt and Ben spent four very, very long days on this installation. It’s exhausting work, but seeing the end result is so rewarding. Stay tuned for final pictures!
Casino Ceiling Sculpture
Here are draft renderings of a ceiling sculpture we’ll be creating for a Las Vegas casino. We haven’t finalized design details, but we will be using a bronze mesh fabric that will create a beautiful ribbon-like effect.
Metro Plaza Sister Ceiling Sculptures
Here’s a fun project in our queue. It’s three different (but similar) ceiling sculptures for three locations at the same office facility. Each sculpture will run about 75 feet long, with a walkway down the middle. This installation is scheduled for November, so we’ll have more updates soon!
The Woodlands Hospital Ceiling Sculpture
Here are renderings of another collaboration we’re doing with artist Daniel Goldstein. This kinetic sculpture will hang more than 50 feet tall in a hospital atrium based in The Woodlands, Texas. We’re excited to see amazing design come together!
