Matt just returned from Maryland where he installed the outdoor kinetic sculpture at a private residence. The pictures below show the progression—from crated mobile and empty concrete pads to the full assembled piece. It has some great movement, and we’re so happy with how it looks in front of that gorgeous home!
Outdoor Kinetic Sculpture Crate
If you’ve ever wondered how a 15-foot diameter kinetic sculpture travels cross country, here ya go. In an enormous, carefully created crate. (Apron-wearing guy included to show scale.)
Outdoor Sculpture Progress
After some shipping delays on materials and manufacturing and shop-space hiccups, we are nearly (finally!) finished with the Annapolis outdoor kinetic sculpture. The first picture shows how beefy the base is, and the next pictures show the rusted steel finish. We are so excited to get this installed for the world’s most patient clients.
Annapolis Outdoor Kinetic Sculpture
Here’s a fun project in our queue! It’s an outdoor kinetic sculpture for a private residence in Annapolis. It will stand about 15 feet in diameter and will reside in the center of the home’s circular driveway. The base will be rusted steel with black arms. Below is a rough sketch Matt created and the 3D renderings Ben masterfully created. We’re so excited to see this come together!
